Why we charge for the call
Almost everyone in this category gives the consult away. That is not generosity, it is a sales structure: a free call has to end in a sale to pay for itself, which means the person on the other end is not free to tell you no.
We would rather charge for the veterinary work and keep the judgment clean. A licensed veterinarian reading your dog’s records, screening for contraindications, making a prescribing decision, and putting their license behind it is a real appointment with a real cost. If the answer is that your dog should not be on peptides, you get the $199 back and you still keep the recommendation.
Why every protocol is the same price
Because pricing by compound would mean your veterinarian’s prescribing decision changes your bill, and that is a bad incentive to build into a business. A three-peptide protocol should never be recommended because it bills higher. At one price it cannot be.
The discount for paying ahead is a different thing entirely, because you choose it and your veterinarian has no say in it. It exists because these protocols take months to show anything, and the families who stop at week four almost never learn whether it would have worked.
If the price is the barrier
Say so on the call. Sometimes a protocol can be simplified without losing the point of it, and sometimes the honest answer is that this is not the right spend for your situation right now. We would rather have that conversation than have you start something you cannot sustain for three months, which is roughly the window it takes to know whether it is working.

Paying a few months ahead costs less: three months is $799 and six is $1,499, which works out to $266 and $250 a month. Paying monthly, your first month is $498 and every month after is $299.
Why is every protocol the same price?
Because pricing by compound would mean your veterinarian’s prescribing decision changes your bill, and that is a bad incentive to build into a business. One price means the protocol you are put on is the protocol your dog needs. What differs between the three is what is in them and how long a dog typically stays on one, not what you pay per month.
When am I charged?
The $199 when you book your call. Nothing else until after the call, once you have seen the exact protocol your veterinarian recommends and said yes to it. Then you pick monthly or a prepaid plan and pay that. Monthly renews on the same date each month; prepaid plans renew monthly at $299 once the prepaid period ends, unless you tell us otherwise.
Are the recommended durations a commitment?
No. There is no contract and no minimum term. The durations on the protocol cards are what these typically need in order to do anything: an acute injury protocol has an end, a chronic arthritis protocol usually does not. Prepaid plans are a discount for paying ahead, not a commitment. If you stop partway through a prepaid plan we refund the full months you have not used.
Can I pause or cancel?
Any time, from your account, without calling anyone. Pause if you are traveling or want to see how your dog does on a break. Cancel and you are done, no fee, no final shipment you did not ask for. Product you have already received is yours to finish, and on a prepaid plan we refund the full months you have not used.
Do you take pet insurance?
Compounded medications and telehealth consults are covered by some policies and not others. We provide an itemized receipt with everything an insurer typically asks for, and you submit it for reimbursement directly.
